Biomedical Neuroengineering
The Institute of Biomechanics of Valencia collaborated with Keyton in the development of new massage robotics to alleviate back pain. Subsequently, the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Valencia and the Biomedical Neuroengineering Research Group of the Miguel Hernández University of Elche were in charge of verifying the health results.
Our history
Made in Japan
KEYTON began manufacturing Shiatsu massage chairs exclusively in Japan, using Japanese-style technology and design, from where they were exported to Europe. Production was later moved to Europe as well, with the aim of adapting the product to the needs and preferences of European customers.
1989
After years of research, Keyton begins manufacturing the FX Series ergonomic massage chair collection in Europe. These chairs are carefully designed to precisely fit the natural curves of the back, providing an optimal level of efficiency and comfort during massages.
1993
Presentation of the new range of Keyton MMS series massage chairs. Its sales success was based on its ability to adapt massage functions to European tastes and the needs of the most demanding customers.
2000
Relieves muscle tension with scientific evidence. The results of clinical trials carried out by the University of Medicine of Valencia show that Keyton massage chairs reduce muscle tension by more than 42%. These solid results support the effective performance of Keyton armchairs in relieving muscle tension with scientific evidence.
2001
The introduction of the Keyton “Concept” massage chair marks a historic milestone in massage chair design, thanks to its extraordinary sales success. This model revolutionizes the market and sets a new standard in the industry.
2004
Keyton at 10 Downing Street
When British Prime Minister Tony Blair feels overwhelmed by the consequences of his decisions in collaboration with US President Bush, he finds relief in his comfortable Keyton Concept massage chair. This luxurious Christmas gift was given by his wife, Cherie Blair, who discovered it while on vacation at the Hilton Hotel in Rome. The prestigious article in the Daily Mail newspaper describes Keyton as the “Rolls-Royce of massage chairs”, which exponentially drives the growth and consolidation of the brand.
2005
Keyton presents the Keyton Aero massage chair at International Fairs, equipped with innovative Sensor Scan technology that allows recognition of muscle tension in the back. This is the first chair with sensors that detects the state of the back to select the most appropriate massage and achieve progressive relaxation of muscle tension.
2006
The prestigious Italian designer Giugiaro design and the Keyton design team jointly develop the Keyton Cosmo massage chair with “SensorFT2” massage technology. Its patented technology and its sporty character were developed to reduce muscle tension in highly competitive athletes.
2008
Keyton celebrates its successful career of 11 years of participation in the International Fairs of Cologne, Milan, Paris, Birmingham and Valencia, thus consolidating its prestige and recognition throughout Europe.
2016
Relieves cervical tension with scientific evidence. According to the study carried out by the Biomedical Neuroengineering Research Group (NBIO) of the Miguel Hernández University of Elche, it has been concluded that the Keyton massage chair reduces cervical tension by more than 21%. This study supports and recommends its use for those people who in their daily lives experience tension and overload in the back muscles, especially in the cervical region.
2020
New generation of Keyton massage chairs with H10 technology. They incorporate the Test function to analyze up to 128 muscle tension points. Thanks to the advanced artificial intelligence system, the massage programs adapt precisely to the tastes and preferences of each user. This innovative feature offers highly personalized massages, providing an unprecedented level of comfort and muscle relaxation.
